The Romanians withdrew on 14th November 1919 and two days later the Hungarian National Army entered Budapest. The National Republic lasted until 1st March 1920 when the Regency was created.

Overprinted Issue, 27th January 1920


All 20 of the original Hungarian Soviet Republic issues from July 1919 were overprinted with a wheatsheaf design bearing the date 1919, obliterating the Soviet Republic inscription.
